I've been tired of this blog thing for a while now. So, why do I continue you ask? Well, I have these sweet nieces that request/demand a new post nearly every time I see them.
What do you think of the pink? Too much? I tried green and might go back to it. However, I helped my mom paint her sewing room pink last week and felt inspired, I guess. Remind me to post a picture of the adorable tooth fairy pillowcase she sowed for Grace. She lost her first tooth. She is little no longer.
And since this has become a random post:
I once worked for a nice guy named Curtis that would e-mail everyone in our department a "Thought of the Day." And when he was absent I would send everyone a "Deep Thought" by Jack Handey. Deep down, I'm just a clown...something that I try to camouflage. I'm always afraid it's going to be interpreted as being disrespectful or sarcastic. So, for my nieces that I'm sure haven't watched old reruns of Saturday Night Live, here is a "Deep Thought" by Jack Handey.
"A funny thing to do is, if you're out hiking and your friend gets bitten by a poisonous snake, tell him you're going to go for help, then go about ten feet and pretend that *you* got bit by a snake. Then start an argument with him about who's going to go get help. A lot of guys will start crying. That's why it makes you feel good when you tell them it was just a joke."
Here's another:
"Anytime I see something screech across a room and latch onto someones neck, and the guy screams and tries to get it off, I have to laugh, because what is that thing."

Curtis thought it was funny too. When he found out, he asked me to send them to him also.
