Have you read the children's book Jamberry by Bruce Degen? It's adorable, and reminds me of my Grandma Erickson's poetry. Anyway, Nickie (my sis-in-law) and I have been makin' freezer jam like two crazy ladies. Neither one of us had made it before, so it was a fresh experience for us both.

These are Nickie's cute jars, mine were of the not-so-cute variety.

Noah and Lily played in the backyard. We hosed them down when we were done. They were as happy as a pig in mud.

Remember last year when I canned pears? Well, I am doing it again. This time, I bought three boxes, what was I thinking? I have been collecting jars in anticipation of their arrival from Oregon. Wish me luck!
